The new square proposal as an integral part of a major extension of the Kansas City Convention Centre focuses on an iconic sculptural gateway linking it with a planned new Performance Centre by Moshe Safdie Architects.The Central Plaza was designed to provide both a practical space for external exhibition as well as more intimate breakout spaces for convention delegates.
