Light and Sound acting programmatically together as one unified artwork. The location for the artwork was the longest most Southern section of the Greenway. A 207 feet long pergola becomes a symbolic “front porch” entry to the Home zone of the North End community as well as a visual gateway to the people towards it from down town. Once within the “ front porch “ area the lighting and the soundscape will create a vibrant social space that will be intriguing and immersive whilst being accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds.
